The Terrorist’s Daughters by Brian Arthur Levene

By Richard Randall @aude11360

I won the book Emperors Once More by Duncan Jepson via a giveaway on the Goodreads website.
It is a paradox. I liked this novel, but at the same time I did not.
The reason I liked this book is hard to explain, I can only say I found it interesting, and gripping.
The reason I did not like the book is because it read like a Famous Five novel by Enid Blyton, with two girls going on an adventure by escaping Pakistan and ending up in America via Dubai and Mexico. The storyline is very improbable and far fetched.
While the writing style of The Terrorist’s Daughters may read like a novel aimed at teen girls, the content is not. It deals with incest/child abuse, terrorism, drug addiction, human trafficking etc. It is an adult themed novel, but written like a Children’s adventure book. Perplexing.
Even more perplexing is the fact I would be happy to read the next installment.
