At TPG, We work hard to share the critical information you should know to become the best traveler you can be, including Marriott’s significant shift toward dynamic pricing, European Union nations ditching COVID-19 travel restrictions as well as the debut of a brand new series of videos that will teach you how to make the most of points.

However, there’s an abundance of information to take in right now in the world. In addition to the significant issues that keep us hooked to our screens and the constant push notifications bombarding our smartphones and tablets, it’s easy to forget specific stories worthy of being mentioned.

To keep you updated, We’ve put together the most exciting hotel stories that you may have missed in a month, from an unforgettable new wellness experience located in Thailand and Hyatt’s plan to launch Hyatt House along with Hyatt Place to other cities across the country and beyond.

Hyatt Place and House House will soon be in one of the cities near you.

Hyatt has a variety of brands we’ve come to recognize and enjoy, such as Andaz, Thompson, Park Hyatt, and the all-inclusive resort brands Hyatt Zilara and Ziva. We’re always thrilled to learn about new Hyatt properties opening across the globe. The company recently announced that it is going through a rapid expansion across the Americas of two brands specifically: the extended-stay brand Hyatt House, which offers one-bedroom and studio suites that come with living and kitchen areas, and Hyatt Place. This select-service chain is responsible for “more of Hyatt’s hotel footprint than any other brand.”

There are currently over 447 Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties in the Americas. Another 48 will be open by 2023, adding over 6,400 rooms for the business and accounting for nearly 9 percent of Hyatt’s pipeline. Hyatt’s new hotel, Hyatt explained in a statement, will introduce both brands “into locations where Hyatt’s loyal guests and members are traveling” across 44 cities and 16 cities, which include Montreal, Panama City Beach, Florida, and Sacramento, California, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The hotel, which is set to be the highest anywhere, will open on a date to be announced later

Hotels are always getting ever taller and higher. In 2024, the Ciel hotel located in Dubai is expected to claim the title of the tallest hotel in the entire world. It is scheduled to be completed by 2023’s end, and with the grand opening of 2024, the hotel will stand at around 1197 feet tall. It will also have more than 1,000 guest rooms and suites and include a lounge with a view of the sunset on the 75th floor, a rooftop pool with an infinity edge on the 76th level, and an observatory and lounge with a 360-degree view of Dubai on the 85th floor.

Radisson has launched a brand new brand that is designed to be excellent.

It appears that country Inn & Suites is coming to the city, as Radisson Hotel Group recently announced plans to launch a “metropolitan” hotel brand that will be identical to Country Inn & Suites but more modern and stylish. It’s called Radisson Inn & Suites. These new hotels will enable customers to “feel connected to their metropolitan destination” with affordable rooms.

The new brand will be designed with spacious public spaces and cafe-style areas that “enable guests to feel at home both inside and outside their rooms.” One distinctive feature that a hotel with a limited-service Radisson Inn & Suites will offer is a Creative Content Studio with state-of-the-art gaming chairs, monitors, and high-speed internet made for creators of content who are constantly scrolling.

Banyan Tree’s new resort aims to wrap you in health and wellness.

If you plan to travel towards Phuket soon, take a look at a stop at Banyan Tree’s new resort for wellness called Banyan Tree Veya. Banyan Tree Veya is located within Banyan Tree’s more excellent Banyan Tree Phuket resort. In this resort, guests can participate in “bespoke programs” created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When staying at a hotel such as this, guests can have a private meeting with a “wellbeing host” who is certified and certified in Eastern healing, naturopathy, and coaching. The host will develop an individualized schedule with treatments and classes that meet the specific needs of each guest. The activities offered include Conscious Grounding and Ocean Breath for help with breathing and meditation, yoga or dance workshops, seminars on nutrition, and sound therapy.

The guests can reserve one of 23 villas in the pool designed to enhance sleep and relax and eat plant-based meals prepared with the help of the resort’s “Nutrition Sommeliers” and take benefit of the other facilities offered throughout the estate. This is undoubtedly an exciting approach to wellness and one that this writer can support.

Are hangovers and sleepy drinks cures the following mainstays of minibars?

The tallest hotel in the world and minibar essentials Hotels news you may have been able to miss this month.

As someone who has to spend much of the days in the hotel, I’m curious about what’s happening in my room’s minibar (and what’s not there). In my recent visits, I’ve discovered several interesting items that include drinks like the More Lab Morning Recovery designed to reduce hangovers (surprise it: there was a hangover in Nashville). It was fortunate that I didn’t need it at the time. However, I observed several people in the airport who could have benefitted from the electrolytes.

The new season is here! Miami guests who stay at the Ennismore’s SLS Brickell, SLS Lux Brickell, SLS South Beach, and Hyde Midtown Miami can also look at the fridge to find the benefits of a bottle this time to help you rest. Ennismore has teamed up together with Som Sleep to stock a scientifically-backed beverage that can aid tired travelers in getting some Zs. Although I’ve never tested it, many online are raving about it. When you consider that a good night’s rest in the hotel is usually our first line of defense against jetlag, it’s only natural that these drinks would be available within the hotel room.

I’m guessing that we’ll see many more brands continue to emphasize health and wellness, particularly in the wake of the pandemic. Consequently, more products will be similar to these in the minibar mix. Don’t even begin to discuss those minibar prices, even though I love the idea of paying $8 for an ounce of water. (Kidding.)
