The Sweet Tart Tearoom Shawlands

Festive Afternoon Tea in the Southside of Glasgow

Afternoon Tea is one of those treats that we love. A perfect mixture of sweet and savoury goodies. Festive Afternoon Tea seems to have become popular over the last few years and when you try one, you'll see why they are popular. The Sweet Tart Tearoom is a popular venue and were offering festive afternoon tea. Feeling suitably Christmassy, we booked in.

What to expect at The Sweet Tart Tearoom Afternoon Tea

We brought along a bottle of fizz (£3 corkage) which was placed into an ice bucket for us, alongside some champagne flutes. Well, it is Christmas after all!

As you can see there were lots of goodies to eat. Home-made treats disappeared quickly. Soup, sandwiches, trifle, scones and all washed down with some fancy tea. The choice of teas available was surprising, try the gin and tonic one if you want something refreshing.
