At auction, a one-of-a-kind pair of Birkenstock sandals that Apple co-founder Steve Jobs wore many times over the course of his life sold for $218,750.

From November 11 to November 13, 19 people bid between $15,000 and $175,000 for Julian’s shoes at an auction.
As part of the transaction, an NFT was created on the Polygon blockchain that showed Steve Jobs’ sandals from every angle.
The NFT is a one-in-one version that comes with sandals that have “Steve Jobs’ foot impression” on them. A hard case and a book called Jean Pigozzi 213 most important men in my life were also included.
At first, the sandals and NFT were thought to be worth between $60,000 and $80,000. However, after 19 bids, the sandals were sold for $218,750. The new owner of the Sandals NFT has not been made known to the public yet.
Jobs and Wozniak helped start Apple in 1976. Jobs died of pancreatic cancer in 2011.
