Before Sunday, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt might have been colloquially known as Fame Whores 1 and 2, or those desperate blondes from The Hills who won’t ever go away. But from here on out, they’re…well, they’re still all those things, but now they’re also Mommy and Daddy.
Heidi and Spencer confirmed to UsWeekly that she gave birth to a baby boy yesterday. No, they didn’t confirm it by sending UsWeekly a too-intimate labor video filmed by Spencer pretending to be a reality TV crew. They confirmed it with a statement. But don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll be treated to Baby’s First UsWeekly Cover after all the amniotic fluid has been rinsed off and baby learns to smile for the camera.
Heidi and Spencer’s rep say that they have a healthy baby boy named Gunner Stone Pratt who was born yesterday at 3:06pm at 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and 19 inches long.
“We are so blessed to have a beautiful healthy baby boy,” Montag tells Us Weekly exclusively. “It was the hardest and most rewarding experience.”
Pratt described the experience to Us as, “Officially the most lit day of my life.”
Spencer also confirmed the birth of his son on Twitter with the following tweet that sounds BEYOND wrong if you’re not familiar with Spencer’s current hummingbird obsession:

I’m sure Auntie Stephanie Pratt has responded to the news by slipping a card in the mail for her new nephew that says, “The first time you’re on television, shake your rattle twice if you want me to come and rescue you from that awful brother of mine.”
But back to the name, Gunner Stone. Stone is no doubt a tribute to Spencer’s love of healing stones and crystals.

As for Gunner, Spencer said during Heidi’s pregnancy that they had picked out a name based on how social media brandable they could make it. Branding is very important to Heidi and Spencer, and I would say that Gunner is very on brand for them. It’s the perfect name for a child born to two people who look like defected merchandise from a Matthew and Gunnar Nelson factory.
