Movies: Our little Secret (Netflix) with audio description, Oh Canada (screener) no audio description, Look Into My eyes (screener) no audio description, and The Old Oak (screener) no audio description.

Before I dive into TV talk, let’s adress those Globes.

Best Nomination: Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl)- I predicted it, but she should have gotten Indie Spirit and didn’t.

Worst Nomination: All Nominations For monsters

Best Surprise I Didn’t Predict: The Apprentice In Lead and Supporting Actor

Best Lack of Nomination I Predicted: No Nominations For Saturday Night

most Egregious Snub: Danielle Detweiler (The Piano Lesson), Clarence Macklin (Sing Sing), and Marianne Jane baptiste (Hard Truths)

Film That benefitted The most: The Substance with 5 nominations

performers Still Alive Due To Globe Nominations: Sebastian Stan (for either film), Pamela Anderson (The last Showgirl), Glen Powell (Hitman), Zendaya (Challengers), Jeremy Strong (The Apprentice), Fernanda Torres (I’m Still Here), Tilda Swinton (The Room Next Door)

Films Almost Dead After The Globes: blitz, The outrun, Hard Truths, Joker, Juror No. 2, Saturday Night, and many others.

Now for TV, I’ll follow a similar format.

Best Single Episode I Saw Yesterday: The Madness

Best performance In An Episode From yesterday: Coleman Domingo (The Madness)

Best Audio Description From Yesterday: Dune Prophecy

Best Moment Of Audio Description: Best Single Moment Of Audio Description: Probably The Whole Boiling Skin Sequence (Again) in Dune Prophecy

Worst Episode From Yesterday: Girls Gone Wild being a three part docuseries instead of a solid documentary. But, it wasn’t terrible. It’s just do I want to watch three episodes of this?

Worst Audio Description: The non-existent Masked Singer wins. Maybe this has live AD that Hulu refuses to use, but it is the only show that lacked description yesterday for me.

Congrats to all who won a non-existent award today.
