I’m loving the fact that SNl has audio description now. I know I’m waiting maybe a bit too long to watch these episodes, as Keaton was there to promote Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and this had the Alec Baldwin appearance. That felt like it was ages ago. Still, there’s always a sketch that is focused on some kind of visual prop humor, or sight gags, and that happens here. Multiple times. probably the most obvious is the sketch where Keaton is trying to sell these “Zombie Eye” cookies that everyone else can see look like breasts, but him. Without AD, the sketch makes no sense. So, kudos to continuing to knock this out of the park.

I also mentioned a few weeks back that they needed a kid on Papa’s House. A few episodes in and not only did we finally get the third generation in an adorable little boy, but we also got an actress to play Papa’s ex-wife, and Junior’s mom. I’m going to assume she’s heavily recurring. I still want more from the show, but the description is fine. I liked the scene where the kids took their anger out on dummies.

Special shoutout to What We Do In The Shadows, which in this Nandor centric episode had the cast doing their own version of the theme song. Loved it, and the description here helps with so many sight gags as well, like having a war council full of mannequins.

The Last Nights On Tremore Beach delivered some devastating backstory. I’m saying it, because I don’t see this show trending, y’all are sleeping on this. This is a great story. Yes, the episodes are a bit long, but the mystery and lore is solid as a rock, especially as the show grows. If we want more international titles described consistently, we have to start somewhere to create a metric.
