My audio description wish, is that before the next season of a Walking Dead show, that AMC Plus realizes how much audio described content they likely already have, and commits to being a streamer that supports it moving forward. I’d love to keep watching these Walking Dead shows and understand them.
As far as the other shows go, I have more questions tht are non-audio description related. like, the ladies of Queens Court are looking for love… so they play Never Have I Ever, and talk about tossing salads? Now, I’m not against what you do in the bedroom or anything, but was that really on your list of things you HAD to know before picking a mate? If so, perhaps that’s why you are on a reality dating show to begin with instead of an actual relationship.
Or how about Tulsa King, which had a character clearly foreshadowing the ending of the episode the whole time. What the fuck was Tyson doing? I don’t expect amazing writing all the time from everything, but he clearly knows he’s being followed, and he still gave that car to his dad? What? Why? I didn’t even feel bad for him at the end. I just thought he was stupid.
And, Happys Place needs some new writers too. Like, there are elements here, and they’ve rebounded from a really awful pilot, but I think some of the stuff here works well. I like the cook, who gives sage advice. but it is still very hit and miss, but I totally want to put my deodorant in the fridge now.
