TV Shows Watched: Tracker: S3E1 (Paramount Plus) with audio description, Gen V: S2E8 (Amazon) with audio description, Haunted Hotel: S1E5? (Netflix) with audio description, Murdock: S1E2 (Hulu) with audio description, Boots: S1E2 (Netflix) with audio description, the Daily Show: Monday (Paramount Plus) no audio description, Celebrity Weakest link: S1E5 (Hulu) no audio description

Tracker- You do not want to interrupt the Process. For a show that jettisoned all but two series regulars, they still managed to have two recurring faces, plus the two remaining regulars in the show. I hope at least for a while, we keep running into the process, because, while silly, it was unnerving. Like, disappearing text messages? Is that even a thing? I don’t think you can recall a text message. So I’m really intrigued to see what this is going forward.

Gen V- Season Finale. That means lookout for a longer review coming soon. For now, I’m a fan. A big one. Loved the finale, and how it helps to set up The Boys. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some Gen V cast in the final season of The Boys doing limited cameo work.

Haunted Hotel- I enjoyed the episode that had a sentient room giving a whole new twist on a nightmare honeymoon. Totally forgot Dan Harmon was an executive producer. Now the bar is higher in my head, as I generally like his work.

Murdock- Man, this guy was a dick long before he killed anyone. this show should be renamed Deadly White Privilege: The Exploitation Of Generational Wealth. It’s just this family who believe they are untouchable, but also aren’t very bright, but just cause havoc because they have been led to believe someone will always help get them off. Roy Samuelson is doing the narration here, and I like some of the darker tones he brings to the more serious moments. If you don’t like wealthy white southern families, this show is for you. It doesn’t do much to excuse their behavior.

Boots- I don’t know what the Pentagon’s problem with this show is. these recruits are all striving to be here, but just want a sliver of fairness, and perhaps a little less obvious abuse. this show is so far leaning pro-military, and is more of a recruitment tool. I suppose if all you want are people exactly like you to occupy your spaces, then any deviation from that is scary, but these recruits are going through hell and back for the honor to serve. Perhaps the Pentagon should actually watch some of this. A lot would have to change, which I doubt it does, since the show is Boots, and not billed as a limited series. The added attention has sent the ratings up though, so it might actually get a second season.

The Daily Show- Bernie freaking Sanders was the guest. If I had three wishes, one of them would involve the 2016 election going his way. I think we’d all be a lot better off, and less angry all the time.

celebrity Weakest Link- What a casting travesty. They got two people from Fresh Prince, 7th Heaven, Friday Night Lights, and 90210, to compete, and some of them aren’t very bright. When we got down to the end with the two charities, I also had a clear preference. And they tried to get rid of those 7th Heaveners really fast, like their TV Dad was lurking in the wings or something.
