I have to keep complimenting Dakota Green for her excellent audio description for the Penguin. Just excellent work.
But, I think I sleep on the audio description for Heartstopper, which is really a seemingly easy to describe show, except for I forget they have all these cartoon reactions to things that happen. I can’t even fully describe them myself, but when they happen in a big moment, they are done so well. It’s a deceptively simple series, but with this one quirky thing that has no basis in reality, and for three seasons they’ve done some exceptional work at including that aspect of the show, and I’m not really sure I’ve ever mentioned how much that matters. It has no bearing on the plot, but has so much on the tone and style of the show. So, two big shoutouts today.
