The Acolyte (Disney plus) showed us what happened when the Jedi faced off against Space Witches, in what I assume is the thing that we were about to get in Episode 6, but that episode was dedicated to talking about talking. This episode is better as things actually happen, it is by far the most Carrie Anne moss has had to do all season, and now we have a better idea. I’m not sure this show was written by anyone who had ever watched a Star Wars property thing before though.

I also watched the first two episodes of the new Apple Plus mystery Sunny, which is produced by A24 and sends Rashida Jones to a futuristic Japan where robots are highly skilled and developed. Her character seems to be the only American living amongst a sea of people not like her, so the insinuation is that she’s lonely. her husband is missing and might have died in a plane crash, but as the mystery evolves, maybe not? He sent her a very specialized robot named Sunny, who joins the resistant Jones. An odd gift for someone who hates robots, right? So, this odd couple has a rough start, but eventually start trying to figure out what happened to her husband.

Is there a world where Land Of Women (Apple Plus) doesn’t end up with those two crazy winos ending up together? Eva Longoria and the handsome man running the vinery she’s helping seem pre-destined. However, this week, the henchmen have found them, and this series continues to be fluffy hot garbage. These two found and followed her all the way to Spain, but have no idea where her husband is, and can’t figure out how to hack his email to see the very basic information about this affair he’s having. Criminal masterminds are usually pretty consistent on being a criminal mastermind. What makes this show even more dumb, is that Kate’s girlfriend’s father is the bad guy on the other end, and he makes a clear point to not let the kids know because he doesn’t want to mess up their relationship. I would say routinely putting a gun to Kate’s head will probably do that? It’s silly fluff. I don’t hate it, but it isn’t a well written show. It just happens to have a lead who knows her brand very well.

And lastly, I did catch up on an episode of Blood Of Zeus. I’m not sure how long Season 1 is, but I feel like I should be on the current season soon.
