Time to finish a few more shows. One of them was a series finale, The Good Doctor (Hulu), which wrapped its 7 season run with an episode that seemed poised to kill off some characters. Luckily, most survive. With a time jump forward, we see some truly confusing shit. I mean, not to be that guy, but there was clearly a 10 years later, but did all of those lives feel like ten years later? Charlie’s an attending, but the other two are still playing with baby Eden? Like flash everyone forward please, not just some characters. It’s so weird seeing this partial jump, and not knowing what we’re being shown. Steve should be a ten year old. Look, you guys picked the time jump. Not me.

Baby Reindeer probably could have just ended on Episode 6. It would have been a rather dark ending, with him on stage giving the least funny stand up routine, but he really summarized everything. It could have worked, but there’s more. I see you Episode 7, and I’ll get to you next week.

I did the season finale of The Equalizer (Paramount Plus) which sent off potentially a series regular. Will they follow through? Did we just lose a cast member? We will find out next season I suppose. And when did Harry gain combat skills? He was suddenly a badass in this episode.

The Rookie (Hulu) wrapped its season also, with an episode that could have laid everyone to waste. Instead, most of the villains are in the wind, and everyone is still standing, so I have a feeling next season is going to see some familiar faces come back for revenge. Bradford and Chen are adorable.

I got further into The Big Door Prize (Apple Plus), which went into the backstory of one character, and then ended with the reveal that it is possible to lose your Morpho dots. Maybe that’s what happens when you win the game? Did he just win? Can you win?

And finally, Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show (MAX) is continuing to redefine what a show like this can be, and is extremely personal. I’d be shocked if this wasn’t Emmy nominated in whatever category it is eligible.
