Hope you enjoyed Cinco De Mayo! I finished the terrific limited series Shogun (Hulu), which has less than terrific audio description performed by one voice talent, but the written stuff is good, and the narrator’s voice would normally be fine. but this series was such a blast. I do feel like the ending was somewhat abrupt, as I didn’t feel like that was the moment where it was ending, but it was still a great episode, and the series produced some terrific performances. Luckily, the balance was such that I could hear the original actors underneath and the conviction in their dialog.

Velma (MAX) is back, and there’s another murder for these teens to solve. It’s not my favorite show, but it can be funny at times. The audio description is Ok. Am I losing my mind or does Daphne have a new voice for Season 2?

Oddly, that’s it for audio described content. I did manage three movies, but this is a TV roundup. So, it’s a surprisingly short one. I did finish a much talked about docuseries that shockingly still has no audio description on MAX despite its popularity. Like, WTF? They even taped a follow up episode, which could have been described realizing how popular the first four episodes were, but even the additional episode wasn’t described. Just a total fail at WBD.
