TV Shows Watched: Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen: S1E3 (Netflix) with audio description, The Pitt: S2E10 (HBO MAX) with audio description, Stumble: S1E8 (Peacock) with audio description, The Beauty: S1E5 (Disney Plus) with audio description, and The Masked Singer: Season Finale (Disney Plus) no audio description

something Very Bad Is Going To Happen- Does the dog die? well, not in this episode, but if you need to know the answer to that question before watching the film, remember… taxidermy is abound in the cabin. The episode was very well described, from that prophetic piece of cake she cut for herself, to the interesting way the AD had to follow The Intruder.

the Pitt-Man, their waiting room is packed. I’d be frustrated more if I had forgotten that two other hospitals in the area closed already, and this hospital can’t use its computers due to fear of ransomware. So, everything is moving a bit slower. The mom with cancer still had the most emotionally impactful storyline as she’s enjoying time saying goodbye to her younger son, while the other one debates whether or not to go in. The series is well described, in some gory procedures. Can The Pitt win back-to-back Emmy’s?

Stumble- Coach gets in a quitting funk that her husband has to pull her out of again.Meanwhile, might the star cheerleader whose foot was broken finally have recovered? The AD here can’t possibly be great, it just tries to do what it can.

The Beauty- This series does have some well written audio description to it, because the show is doing so much you can’t help but take advantage. This one shows us a billionaire meeting, discussing the formula, and what happened after. I was surprised, and then found it stupid. I also think the AD company was told not to curse in the track, so in the scene where the billionaires are being introduced by wealth and industry, we get to one and the description on screen was the richest guy on the **** planet”, something like that. It is written like a show with this much sex and gore probably slapped the word fucking on screen, but the AD chose to read blank. So you hear “The richest guy on the whole blank planet.” That’s blanking stupid, right? If Disney ordered this nonsense, The Beauty is such the wrong hill to die on. It is one of the goriest shows on television, so the idea that anyone watching who is blind can’t hear profanity is absurd.

The Masked Singer- I figured out who Galaxy Girl was a long time ago, and we already knew who CatWitch was. Even though I know Picasso, I did not guess him correctly. His voice has deepened a lot, and he sounds more country now. And for Crane, while I didn’t figure it out, once the name was said by someone on the panel, I did just agree with it. So not a very surprising finale, and it is so weird to think that the person who won actually won. I think I might be done with this show. it doesn’t pass through audio description, and I’ve reached my maximum limit of Nick cannon. If next season has a new host and judges, we’ll talk. Otherwise, this water cooler moment is warming past room temperature and it’s time.
