Boots- Finished. great series. I hope to do a review, but my quick thoughts are that I think they wrap season 1 enough that the cancellation isn’t quite as painful, and this would have been a great recruitment tool for the Military in any other administration. In terms of entertainment, most military dramas feature people getting blown apart, which doesn’t provoke immediate desire to sign up. Boots bleeds Marine pride. Not pride pride, but Marine pride. Yes, the main character is gay, but my God did he want to fight to be taken seriously and serve his country. it should e admirable, which was the whole point of the show, and sadly it was met with ignorance.

Wonder Man- I’m not crazy about the further adventures of Trevor, but… oh wait. I’m reserving my thoughts on the series since Disney forgot me. I, um, Wonder if I’ll review this in the end. The AD team did some nice work, and I do have to mention that in this current political climate, it certainly is a bold choice to have a scene where a government agency is ordering their agents to “find people” because their jails are half empty and Congress is slashing budgets. You mean… you’re not just going after the bad ones? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Seven Dials- Take a shot everytime someone mentions The Seven Dials like they’re some super secret group like the Freemasons or the Skull and Bones society. I can’t write this review… the Seven Dials… It could be a fun show for couples. “Honey, you didn’t take out the trash.” “I would have… but… the Seven Dials….”

Elzabeth- Dianne Wiest is divine, and Mayor Of Kings Town did her dirty. It had no idea what to do with the two-time Oscar winner, and dropped her unceremoniously. Someone write this woman a series. If we can have Elzabeth and Matlock, surely there’s something for Dianne. A legend. The AD was lovely. Paramount’s app accessibility is like if accessibility had stage 4 cancer. Its ability to work with screen readers is nearly non existent. I have to watch Paramount Plus either by launching it through the TV app on an Apple device, or shouting the show title at a Roku. I can’t just browse.

Matlock- Bye Bitch. I wasn’t sure which episode was the Good Riddance episode, but this was the first Billy free episode. Sarah spends the episode trying to communicate with him in audibly over the phone. She’s a good sport. When you consider that Lea Lewis. Is now filming scenes talking to the character played by the actor who sexually assaulted her. Perhaps Billy will get in a tragic accident, and have reconstructive surgery on his face so he can be played by someone else like on a daytime soap. this episode goes for broke, ending with a big question mark over Julian. This is why they should have been more honest and brought him in. Also, he was on the phone and he heard another phone vibrate? I call bullshit. As much as I love Matlock, that bridge is too damn far.
