TV Shows Watched: The Night Agent: S2E7 (Netflix) with audio description, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man- S1E2 (Disney plus), Will Trent: S3E4 (Hulu) with audio description, High Potential: S1E? (Hulu) with audio description, The recruit: S2E1 (Netflix) with audio description, SNL: Dave Chappelle (Peacock) with audio description

Movies Watched: Time Passages (Screener) No Audio Description, Venom The Last Dance (VOD) audio description, Here (Netflix) with audio description

Best Episode: The Night Agent- I would say this season finally hits its peak at Episode 7, when things start to really pick up. Everything is really about the same, but this was my favorite episode of the season so far.

Runner Up: High Potential- I enjoyed this week’s episode where they take a look at a previously unsolved murder, and figure out what really happened.

Best Performance: Noah Centenao (The Recruit)- I love that Netflix decided to put The recruit and The Night Agent so close together. I actually think The Recruit is the better show, it just isn’t as serious, and Noah is a better leading man. the season premiere just doesn’t quite light the fire, which is why i didn’t pick the episode, but Noah is great in it.

Runner Up: marcello Fernandez (SNL)- I’ve mentioned him before, and I think the show is starting to realize his breakout potential because he’s being used more and more. Some cast members seemingly never show up, but Marcello anchored most of the sketches this week. He actually appeared more than Boen and Kenan, I think.

Best Audio Description: SNL (Peacock)- Thank you for no longer screaming at me. It took too many episodes to fix, and I hope they fix the previous episodes. There’s no reason to have broke ass audio description representing on your service. Finally, the audio description isn’t screaming above, and is also timed correctly so the narrator wasn’t trampling jokes. Oddly, the episode with the most divisive host produced the best audio description. Go figure.

runner Up (TIE): the Night Agent, The recruit, and Your Friendly Neighborhood spider-Man- All three shows had action sequences to describe, and they were all well done.

Best Moment Of Audio Description: weekend Update (SNL)- Now that it is balanced, I could actually understand the jokes, along with the images they threw up on screen that I can’t see. So many other shows are funny, but rely on this format, and lack audio description when i see them like The Daily Show, or Last Week Tonight. So to have this format done correctly, is priceless.

Runner Up: The Interrogation (The Night Agent)- While this episode had multiple interrogations, I’m specifically talking about the one featuring the Iranian supporting characters. I could have picked any random action sequence across three shows, but I liked the tension being held in this sequence.

Worst Of…- I made quite a rant yesterday about Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, but that problem is more prevalent than just one show. That’s what makes it more frustrating. There wasn’t anything I saw today that was inherently bad, though after seeing Here twice, once without audio description, and once with, I still wouldn’t recommend that film.
