Martin Luther King Jr had a dream. Today was not that dream. I choose to focus today on the work of the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy. Today is a great day to watch Selma, for example.

Best Episode: Severance- I’m definitely wondering if Patricia Arquette will rear her head, and we didn’t get to see much of the outties, but this was a very interesting way to reintroduce us to this ensemble, and bring back an audience to one of the buzziest shows on television.
Runner Up: Abbott Elementary- I really liked this week’s episode. Season 4 has been a little hit or miss, but this worked for me.
Best Performance: William Stanford Davis (Abbott Elementary)- This guy is never going to get his due, but he was pitch perfect as Mr. Johnson in this episode. He rarely gets this much of a feature, but this episode showed why he should, and maybe why one day he should get a Supporting Actor nod for a very unsung performance.
Runner Up: Adam Scott (Severance)- Of course, the episode was focused more on him, but really everyone did great here. It was tough between him and Michael Fassbender for The Agency, but I’ve recognized him before, and I am just so happy severance is back.
Best Audio Description- Goosebumps- In the final episode, it was once again, fantastic. It ending will free up this slot for other shows to win now. It just is a little unfair. Zoo Digital did some exceptional work, even in the final episode.
Runner Up: The Agency- I thought Severance was fine, but I also had questions about the age of our new character. She sounded older than the characters kept saying she was, and I wanted the audio description to just be a little more firm. So, for the first episode at least, I’m giving one more nod to The Agency.
Best Moment Of Audio Description: Goosebumps- Anthony Vs Ship. I thought that interaction was really good and that’s the least spoilery way to put that.
runner Up: Goosebumps: What happens after “This Isn’t Me”. technically, multiple occurrences, but some cool audio description each time.
Worst Of….?- I really don’t have a strong feeling here. I have pretty consistently not liked the newer seasons of Abbott when they changed AD teams, but I also had two screeners with no audio description. Of those two, Jazzy was the harder to follow without it, so the lack of audio description for Jazzy wins (or loses) I guess.
