Well, I can start with TV news finally. MAX has renewed bookie for a second season, and CBS is working on something called NCIS:Origins, where some poor soul will attempt to be a young Mark Harmon.

Speaking of Bookie (MAX), I actually knocked another episode out today. I love the banter between the leads, but the premise of working against online gambling just really isn’t coming through. They just seem like low level henchmen not great at their jobs. I also was happy that finally Julia (MAX) returned to the studio, so they can focus on the rest of the cast without it being painfully awkward.

Fargo (Hulu) is giving me life. I haven’t liked a season of Fargo this much, ever, and I’m really hoping to see Jon Hamm bite the dust by the end. He’s doing some great work here, being incredibly evil. I did make it further into Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix) as well, and I didn’t understand the Battleship bullshit. Were they actually on boats? The audio description kinda confused me a bit. Who will get voted off? Especially considering the gang knows strength isn’t a factor, a tug of war lost to Battleship.

One more episode left of For All Mankind (Apple Plus), and that was a devastating way to end Episode 9. I have no idea what is about to happen, but shit is about to go down. I’m so excited, but RIP (Spoiler* and I guess, also *Spoiler*.

And kudos to the winner this week on Celebrity Jeopardy (Hulu). I’m sure the ABC brass was happy, and it’s a great win for that star.

Did I watch undescribed content? Yup. Am I going to give it a platform? Nope. Both shows I watched have no excuse, and Amazon and Paramount Plus need to check their houses and get them in order. It’s a new dawn. Shows without audio description will get one mention from me at the first viewing, explaining why that show needs audio description, and no more until they get it. The days of free press are over.
