Well, I reached the season finale of Upload (Amazon) finally, and wouldn’t that be insane if this show didn’t get a 4th season? Just. Wow. Also, made it through part three of Far Away Downs (Hulu), which I love the fact it has an Australian narrator. I didn’t see Australia before watching this version, so I’ll be doing this in reverse, but this seems like a really toned down Baz Luhrmann. Usually his movies are big loud and fast, and this doesn’t feel like him at all. I wonder if he stripped his soul away ffor this version, or if the film is like this too. I can’t tell it’s directed by him.

Also, Neon (Netflix) wrapped, and I’m hoping for a second season. I’m not craving it, but I would watch it. It has a lot of possibility, and I’m not remotely a fan of Reggaeton. Far Away Downs wasn’t the only down under import, as I also knocked out another Colin From Accounts (Paramount Plus), which is quirky, but I’m starting to level off. Some of the humor works. Probably the best thing I watched was an episode of Lessons In Chemistry (Apple Plus), where Mad finally gets a little more info on who her dad was, and we get to see a lot of him in flashbacks, further shaping his character.

While my revamped small screen diaries are meant to leave off most non-audio described programming, I have to give Name That Tune a pass. i did watch the most recent episode of Name That Tune, and it’s a lot like a show I play on my Alexa device called SongQuiz. I don’t need audio description for that. It’s a very auditory show, and the goal is to try and guess the songs. I know they try to make it flashy so that couch potato’s will watch it, but literally anyone could host this, and I wouldn’t care. I’m just trying to see if I can guess the song first.

Also, as a reminder, since I did watch another episode of an older show that has audio description, Veep (MAX) is available with audio description for your perusal, and my choice to finally watch the whole damn thing is really rewarding.
