The Skunk Ape Experiments Movie Review
Director: Stacy Brown Jr
Plot: Brown leads his bearded cast on three different investigations that are woven together to keep the experience moving as the team explores the central Florgator-investigator-infested hell-hole – Myakka River State Park. These investigations look into what feral beasts hide in the swamps, whether a neighbourhood has been “cursed” for seeing too much in the moss, and what really happened in Crowley House, a manor with a history of hauntings, UFO sightings, and mysterious beasts.

Verdict on The Skunk Ape Experiments
The Skunk Ape Experiments see the three different experiments being conducted. First, we follow a group searching the swamps at night searching for a swamp ape. Second, we see how a group are pushing the boundaries of reality by mixing drugs and technology to have a paranormal experience. Third, they explore whether a family has been cursed by a previous encounter.
In what is a reality TV show that follows many of the different paranormal investigation shows. The exploration does everything we have come to expect. There is always the tease that something has been heard or seen, usually off camera. This leads to the investigation, where a feint clue could be discovered that never goes much further than this.
If you are into paranormal investigation shows, this does everything it needs to. It gives a group of mysteries that are trying to be solved, without giving away anything. It does look to push boundaries others don’t, which is risky and dangerous for the viewers. This is done to try and make them stand out more than others.
Final Thoughts – The Skunk Ape Experiments is the typical paranormal investigation.
