The Sims Medieval Cheats – How to enable console

Just enter the game and press

  • PC, Windows: Ctrl+Shift+C
  • Mac: Command+Shift+C

To activate any of the cheats we are going to provide you, type the cheat and press enter

The Sims Medieval Cheats – Cheat Codes

This is the full list of cheat codes:

  • Get 1,000 Simoles: kaching
  • Get 50,000 Simoles: motherlode
  • Disable clothing category filters: DisableClothingFilter
  • Add any amount of Quest Points: setQP[ value]
  • Add any amount of Renown and Reputation Points: setKingdomPoints
  • Randomize available quests: RerollQuests
  • Removes limitations for placing or moving objects: moveObjects
  • Toggle frame rate display in right corner of the screen: fps
  • Toggle Full-Screen Mode on and off: fullscreen
  • Llama Mode on and off: enablellamas
  • Toggles object fading when you get close to items on and off: fadeobjects
  • Turn on Responsibilities: enablerespos
  • Turn off Responsibilities: DisableRespos
  • Unlock all Quests: ShowAllQuests

Enable Testing Cheats

These are the steps to enable testing cheats

  1. Make sure the game isn’t running
  2. Find the Commands.ini file, it should be here:  C://Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims Medieval/Game Data/Shared/Nonpackaged/Ini/Commands.in
  3. Copy the Commands.ini file to your desktop
  4. Open the copied Commands.ini file with Notepad
  5. Find the line TestingCheatsEnabled=0, and change it to TestingCheatsEnabled=1
  6. Save the file, and when saving choose All files (no text files). If the new file is Commands.ini.txt, remove the .txt
  7. Rename the original file BACKUPCommands.ini
  8. Move the edited Commands.ini file to where the original is placed
  9. Open the game, open the console (Ctrl+Shift+C or Command+Shift+C) and enter the cheat testingcheatsenabled true

Testing cheats

Once enabled, this is how to use them:

Press & hold Shift, then choose your letterbox, these are your new options:

  • Make All Happy
  • Force Visitor
  • Set Career
  • Set level

Now Hold down the Shift key and select Sims, and these are your new options

  • Add Sim to House
  • Modify Sim Traits
  • Force Aging
