There’s a long tradition in The Simpsons of doing jokes in the opening credits. Some are just the funny things Bart writes on the chalk board, some are just when the family sits on the couch, and others cover the whole introduction section. In honor of everyone’s favorite game Minecraft, The Simpsons has gone all-out and recreated Springfield and The Simpsons family in Minecraft blocks for a special episode. Check it out in this cool video.
In there you can see Mr. Burns’ nuclear power plant, the Lard Lad donuts statue, the burning tire pile, and The Simpsons’ family home all built from blocks. Mo even turns up as a creeper and explodes like some good old TNT!
