Episode 20 – Whacking Day
Couch Gag – This time we only get a tiny chair which the family makes the most of for a family photo.
Plot Synopsis – Marge attempts to home school Bart after he is expelled from Springfield Elementary. Meanwhile, Lisa protests a barbaric local holiday centered around clubbing snakes to death.
What is going on really – We start with Bart and along with other trouble makers getting hidden from Super Intendant Charmers visit to Springfield school but when Bart plans his escape the plan leads to a nightmare for Principal Skinner.
This leads to Bart getting expelled from school and he is forced into trying new school, Lisa isn’t happy about Whacking Day coming, the day where the people in Springfield chase snakes into the middle of town before killing them.
Out of option Bart finds himself being educated by Marge at home, where she learns just how difficult of a student he actually is but his studying helps Lisa stop the oncoming slaughter of the snakes in whacking day.

Final Thoughts – This is one of the better episodes of the season, it shows how Bart can be taught if given the right material, it also possess the idea of stupid culture days which bring cruelty to animals that people can just follow for no reason.
