Episode 12 – I Married Marge
Couch Gag – This time gymnastics to the sofa with a pose.
Plot Synopsis – As Marge goes to the doctor for a pregnancy test, Homer tells the children of the events leading up to his marriage, and Bart’s birth.
What is going on really – We start with the potential idea that Marge is pregnant which leads to Homer telling the story of him and Marge stayed together through their twenties. With Homer working in the mini golf course getting ready to watch Empire Strikes Back.
Marge pushes Homer to look the future and things need to happen soon as Marge is pregnant. Homer does the honourable thing and proposals to Marge with the two getting married in a small shotgun wedding.
We see how Homer struggled to find a job that could support a family leaving the home until he can find a job. We do of course know how this story ends but learning how the two got married and Bart’s birth all work for us.

Final Thoughts – Learning about Homer and his struggle to make ends meet when he first settled down with Marge and how Bart’s pregnancy changed their lives.
