Episode 16 – Bart’s Dog Gets An F
Couch Gag – This time we get the whole family, pets included all happy on the sofa.
Plot Synopsis – After an uncontrollable Santa’s Little Helper destroys several important Simpson possessions, Homer announces that he will be thrown out of the house unless he completes obedience training.
What is going on really – This episode starts with Homer struggling to control Santa’s Little Helper that is destroying the family’s possession before going on his own adventure through Springfield. Meanwhile Lisa gets sick with the mumps meaning she will be missing school against Bart’s wishes.
When Homer spends $125 on a pair of trainers, Santa’s Little Helper destroys making this the final straw, Homer forces Bart to make Santa’s Little Helper go through obedience training. Lisa stuck at home finds herself hooked on soap operas.
This puts the whole family on a full in a position of whether to keep or get rid of Santa’s Little Helper, this puts Bart on his biggest test of his life as he is force to train Santa’s Little Helper who just doesn’t learn.

Final Thoughts – This is an episode that dog owners would love, we all know how hard it is to train a dog at first but when you finally get it done you will be just as happy as the dog. I did enjoy this and would be happy to watch it once more.
