Episode 11 – One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish
Couch Gag – This time the couch falls over with Maggie popping her head over to watch the television.
Plot Synopsis – After apparently consuming poison blowfish, Homer is told that he only has 24 hours to live.
What is going on really – Lisa feels disappointed with the routine of meat dinner and wants to try something new which leads to the Simpsons family going to a sushi restaurant.
When Homer enjoys the food, he wants to try everything he can only to find out that he has been wrongfully prepared the blowfish leading to Homer being given 24 hours to live.
On his last day Homer sets out to do his final wishes to give Bart advice, enjoy Lisa’s musical gift, make a tape for Maggie and see his father one more time.

Final Thoughts – This episode continues to show one thing, we all have moments when we can question our own existence in this world and with time running out what can we get out of a final day. This episode is such a powerful Homer episode you must stand up and praise it.
