My mother taught me the Bedtime prayer and Serenity prayer when I was a little girl. Neither one of the prayers are in the bible (biblical), however, they have truths derived and that can be applied from a scriptural nature.
The Serenity prayer was hung up above her bed professionally written on a large canvas print material designed with a drawing of praying hands during the late seventies and/or early eighties.

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray to the lord my soul to keep. If I die before I awake, I pray to the Lord for my soul to take.
Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father, of course, except through him.
