The Savage Nomads – Porno

Posted on the 07 May 2014 by Spectralnights

From South London, The Savage Nomads are a new band and ‘Porno’ finds them mixing the best of the early 80s post-punk bands like Gang of Four with a contemporary sound that gives a nod to Everything Everything or Dutch Uncles. The video finds the band in the seedier side of our capital city, while also managing to heavily feature the book of the same name by Irvine Welsh. With a tribal breakdown and an eminently danceable rhythm section, the guitar lines and falsetto also combine to supreme effect. The video closes with some fireworks and this song is surely a cracker!
