Story: The Sand Castle starts when a small family, Yasmine (Labaki), Nabil (Bakri), Jana and Adam live on a remote idyllic island. They live under strict rules as they battle to survive different conditions, waiting for someone to find them. However, Jana’s imagination leads her to search for more answers.
After an incident leaves Nabil injured, the family’s minds begin to spiral out of control. The fear of the situation and of losing someone takes over, and they must face the world’s reality.
