Klein
The hardman of
rock’n’roll management, made the group a fortune by negotiating a royalty rate
for the Stones far in excess of that enjoyed by the more commercially
successful Beatles. Dumped by the Stones in 1970, who hit Klein with a $20
million dollar lawsuit, claiming he had used the band for “his own personal
profit and advantage”.
