Two hours from Denver and ten minutes from Vail lies a magical secret world that is the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch. I visited the property last week, my first time in the area but definitely not my last. It was so gorgeous in the summer and could only imagine its same beauty in the winter… I will certainly return to find out.
You have to know where you’re going to get to the hotel as it is tucked away on a hidden road. Once you cross the wooden threshold in the driveway, you enter another world.
The restaurant on property, the famous Spago by Wolfgang Puck, shows modern design with mountain accents. The spa is mountain chic with copper tubs, a grotto, and outdoor treatments. The hotel boasts unparalleled ski-in and ski-out access, an incredible child care program, a ski concierge, fabulous après ski, and luxurious Club level suites. The Ritz-Carlton suite is the best in the house.
