The seeds from many varieties of trees, plants and flowers which grow in the Royal Garden on the grounds of Buckingham Palace are to become available for the first time to buy at the Hampton Court Flower Show. However can you create the gorgeous scene of a Royal Garden on your own land?
The garden covers over 40 acres and is home to 350 varieties of wild flowers, a national collection of mulberry trees, a rose garden and a lake with many species of birds nesting along the edge.
The garden is meant to show a traditional English landscape with rolling lawns and old trees. However the exact full layout of the garden has remained private. Only from 2009 have limited tour groups been allowed to view the full garden.
Now though 11 varieties of its seed will be available at Plant Heritage’s Seed Shop at Hampton Court Flower Show, which runs until Sunday, in exchange for a minimum £1 donation to the charity.
Now into its fifth year the shop at Hampton Court Flower Show offers hundreds of different seeds collected from all round the UK.
Mr Lane, who selected the palace seeds for the Plant Heritage show at Hampton Court Flower Show, acknowledged that some of the plant would be more difficult to propagate than others.
The current temperatures gripping the UK are sure to help flowers growers get these flowers blooming as soon as they possibly can.
