Army of Darkness

Army Of Darkness vs. Hack Slash #6

Final issue of Ash and Cassie’s adventure together killing deadites and searching for the Necronomicon.

Fantastic Four

Fantastic Four #1

On the coattails of a very controversial casting announcement, Marvel’s first family gets themselves a new number 1 issue.

zombie

George Romero’s Empire Of Dead Act One #2

I forgot to mention this when the first issue came out (and forget to pick myself up an issue too), but Romero bringing his zombie canon to comics is certainly worth a look-see.

Hawkeye

Hawkeye #15

Not only is Hawkeye Marvel’s best comic publishing right now, but it seems to take bigger breaks than a lot of them. Not that I’m being unappreciative, I just end up really excited when the new issue comes out because it seems like forever since the last one. Also this issue is turning its focus back to Clint after following Kate to California.

Firefly

Serenity: Leaves on the Wind #2

I really dug the first issue. It takes place 9 months after the events of the movie, and it very cleverly reintroduced us to Whedon’s future and the Miranda controversy without immediately introducing us back into the lives of the Serenity crew.

Avengers

Uncanny Avengers #17

The conclusion of Ragnarok Now! Rick Remender’s very awesome story about the Apocalypse Twins and their attempt to take over the world.

Scott Snyder

Wake #6

The second chapter of Scott Snyder’s aqua-monster horror tale jumps into the future with the world is flooded.
