Buzz-worthy books of the week
All-New, All-Different Avengers #6The Vision has been acting super shifty lately, and it looks like something is going to come of it. I always hate when that kind of stuff drags on. This seems like a good time.
Aquaman #49I think I'm going to let this issue be my jumping on point. I dropped Aqauaman for while, but I want the character to be a success. An arc just ended and this one is dealing with the aftermath, with Aquaman trying to regain the trust of Atlantis.
Astonishing Ant-Man #5Cassie Lang, former superhero, recently resurrected, is taking the non-powers and loss of her Young Avengers friends pretty rough.
The Goddamned #3This is a pretty cool book that should get a shout out. It's pretty violent with gratuitous nudity. It takes place on a ravaged version of Earth right before the flood and follows Cain post-killing-his-brother, looking for meaning.
Haunted Love #1The anthologies Haunted Horror and Weird Love get mashed together in this weird ode to pre-code comic books.
Karnak #2Its been awhile since the first issue. I barely remember what it was about. I remember it was pretty damn trippy. No surprise there. Warren Ellis is writing it.
