Buzz worthy books of the week
Astonishing Ant-Man #2Well, at least, Ant-Man's days as the leader of the FF haven't been forgotten as his then-girlfriend Ms. Thing shows up to teach him a thing or two about a thing or two.
Batman Europa #1This has been a long time coming. This series was teased a few years ago, and it is finally making it to the stands. Batman and Joker join forces!
Deadpool #2Deadpool is using his new found fame too merchandise. And from that merchandising, he is making a brand new Heroes for Hire out of Luke Cage's old movie theater. He has hired some of Marvel's most obscure mercs and heroes to dress in his suit so it looks like Deadpool can be everywhere at once. Terror. Solo. Slapstick. Madcap. Crazy lineup.
Huck #1I can't say I am much care for Mark Millar's stories, but this one gained some major buzz during SDCC. I like the idea about a nice guy hero who has some gift that allows him to help a person a day.
Spider-Woman #1Spider-Woman returns from the Secret Wars nonsense with a bun in the oven.
Star-Lord #1Sounds like a prequel about Peter Quill's days with NASA before getting stuck out in deep space with the rest of the aliens. We'll learn how a perpetual goofball like Quill could even make it in NASA.
Titans Hunt #2So, in the new 52, there was mention of a previous Teen Titans team with Dick and Roy and the classic lineup. Then, they were edited out of trade paperbacks. Based on the first issue, it seems like they may have had their memories wiped, but now something is bringing them together again.
