While a couple of vaccines were approved in the final days of the Trump administration, there were no plans made on how to get those vaccines into the arms of the American people. That means the Biden administration inherited vaccine chaos. Fortunately, they are now beginning to make some progress.
The charts above are from The New York Times. They show how the vaccination process is going in the United States. Some states are doing very well in getting people vaccinated, while others are not doing as well. Currently the U.S. as a whole is doing about 2.25 vaccinations a day.
At the current rate, herd immunity will not be achieved until late Summer (between July and mid-August).
