Verdict on The Private Eye
The Private Eye is a crime mystery comedy that follows a detective who takes on a risky case. It takes him on a difficult path, which reflects his life at the same time. However, the case takes twists and turns and he is caught trying to solve it.
This is a strange tale, which is filled with twists and turns. Each one takes things in a different direction leading to an outcome you wouldn’t expect. This uses the comedy side of things well, despite turning into a much more serious outcome by the end. It doesn’t feel as engaging as it could be. This holds back the bigger picture and despite being surprising, it doesn’t do enough to hint at it.
Where to Watch
