Andrea & Tom’s wedding at the Priory Cottages was such a fantastic day! When we met with Andrea a year ago she was a bride with a very ambitious and clear vision of her day. She talked about all of the lovely little DIY details that she had been putting together and I remember walking away from the meeting thinking ‘wow – their wedding will look awesome if she can manage to DIY all that stuff!’….. And SHE DID IT. Seriously she was a woman on a mission. She spray painted literally thousands of doilies – made her own brooch bouquet – made her own stationery including an amazing picture frame seating chart and painstakingly matched her ombre pink to peach color scheme meticulously. One of my favorite touches (besides the amazing gold glitter table cloths!) were the ‘cake’ letters wrapped in yarn on her cake table. How in the world did she get the colours to match so perfectly?
To make the day even better – the weather was absolutely perfect! It was warm and filled with sunshine – perfect for a bit of handmade ice cream. Everyone had such a lovely time and were so happy and smiley all day. My favorite bit of the day was watching Andrea & Tom’s two little girls posing for photographs with the pageboy. They were just so gorgeous and the pageboy was such a cheeky little monkey running away every chance he got.
