These charts were made from a recent Public Policy Polling survey -- done between May 6th and 9th of a random national sample of 1,222 registered voters, with a 3.2 point margin of error.
I realize this is a departure from my usual posts about politics and economics, but I found it interesting. First, football is now more popular than baseball in this country. But even more interesting is the breakdown of male/female fans, and Democrat/Republican fans.
