I read a lot of poetry, dozens of collections a year but I don't think I've read anything quite like this before. I'd no idea genre poetry even existed. What a great idea! This is one of the most original and interesting poetry collections I've ever read. I loved every poem. I also loved the fact a lot of the poems are inspired by other poets such as Allen Ginsberg or singers such as Pablo Neruda. The poems are deep and intense at times and use wide ranging subjects including death, gods and goddesses. This is certainly original and well worth a read.
