The peplum has been around since the late 1800's to the early 1900's. What is a peplum? Well I'm glad you asked. The peplum is a ruffle that's either attached to the waist of a jacket, skirt, or dress. This iconic look is all the rage for Spring/Summer and I for one love it! The look is classy and sophisticated and the extra fabric covering your waistline can pose as a "fashion friend" when you've had a rather large meal. Long live the peplum!
