Topshop Cream Seam Flippy Dress - £46.00
I shopped for hours (trust me) and really struggled for what to buy but I decided to select a skater insipred dress from Topshop. I always think if you want an outfit to be versatile you need to have a blank canvas you can build on, so anything embellished or stand alone statement would be out the question. For my scenarios I decided I'd go for three of my most common situations; shopping, party and office. All of which I'd wear extremely different looks for.
Off to the partyFor this look I decided I didn't want to go for the basic black shoes or metallic acessories, instead I wanted some fun and splashed some color in the mix. The Topshop faux fur stole makes this look more luxurious especially teamed with my Moschino leather gloves and River Island Bright Pink Pony Clutch for some statement style
Going Shopping
I love to shop... I mean what girl doesn't? But instead of throwing on a pair of jeans I do like to make an effort - admittedly I won't be strutting about the shops in heels which is a big no from me. I like to be comfy so with this look riding boots are my best friend and the ones I'm wearing were from a vintage shop in Nottingham for £38.00. Featured here is my trusty Fiorelli Vivi Grab Bag and my new addition to my accessories the Topshop Big Floppy Hat.
Office Wear
The office I work in is quite casual with workwear, so when I started I was a bit confused with what was the best look for my day-to-day activities. I don't like to stand out in the office but at the same time I always like to make an effort so for jewelry you will notice my gorgeous initial 'A' necklace, this is by Anna Lou of London. For this look I've gone vintage again with my M&S beige coat but added my rich in color Next Croc Effect Bag with my new Osiris B54 Specs from Specsavers.
My stunning Anna Lou of London 'A' rose gold necklace
I will happily admit I didn't think I could style this dress for three different occassions but I managed it! I know the accessories used haven't been added on purely because I already owned them, (apart from my new hat and necklace) but it does show that even items I have used in months can in fact be used again!
I may have to start taking that extra bit of time styling my outfits so they cater to different social events, as to be honest right now I'm clearly quite lazy it seems!
What do you think of my styling? What would you do? xoxo
