The Owl and the Pussycat

By Evette Garside @evette77

Everyone is familiar with the classic Owl and Pussycat rhyme told by Edward Lear. Tales of how an owl and pussycat went to sea in their pea green boat is a rhyme well remembered from many childhoods which has never been forgot.
Now the classic poem can be relived in a beautifully illustrated book.

The book is hard backed and comes with beautiful illustrations from Charlotte Voake and with a forward from master story teller Julia Donaldson.
The poem starts off exactly how I remember it with a few additions added to the story along the way.

But…. The story does not end with one book alone as there is now a further addition to the kids Classic called The Futher Adventures of The Owl and the Pussycat

This book comes with a glossy paperback cover and also a CD. The CD is the story read by the author (Julia Donaldson) and means Jordanna (whom I gave the books too) can read the book whilst listening to it. It also means Izebella can listen to the book too whilst looking at the pictures.

This book contains similar illustrations to the first book and shows the same owl and pussycat on their adventures.

2 beautiful books which are easy to read and tell a timeless classic tale which has been updated into the modern era.

The Owl and the Pussycat comes with an RRP of £10.99 but currently on AMAZON for £8.79 and the Further Adventures, with the CD comes with RRP of £7.99 and is currently over on AMAZON for just £5.99. This also comes in a hardback version too.
