Written and directed by Sébastien Marnier (Faultless, School’s Out), this stylish thriller follows Stephane, who after living in financial precarity, decides to reach out to her incredibly wealthy estranged father. As Stephane attempts to fit in with her father’s extravagant new family, she soon becomes entangled in the suspicion and deceit that lurks within the beautifully appointed mansion by the sea.
The Origin Of Evil has screened at Venice International Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival and BFI London Film Festival and stars Laure Calamy (Call My Agent!), Doria Tillier (La Belle Époque), Dominique Blanc (Queen Margot, Indochine) and Jacques Weber (Don Juan, Cyrano de Bergerac).
