The Offense/Defense Play In Doubles Tennis

Hey everyone! Most recreational players play doubles tennis, so this week's tip is a simple tactic that will help you and your partner gain and maintain control of the point.

Doubles tennis is a game of offense/defense, and it only takes one shot to transition between the two. If your opponents give your partner a deep ball, retrieve back to the baseline with your partner and create a wall to offset a possible weak response or lob from your partner. And if your partner hits a solid return away from the net person, immediately transition into the net together.

This does 2 things: first, it takes pressure off your partner so you don't become a human target at the net, and second, it immediately puts the aggressiveness back on your side in just one shot!

As always, my goal is to give all of you the tips and tools you need to be the best tennis players you can be, so if you need help with your game, DON'T BE SHY! Tell me about it in the comments section below and I'll address it in a future video! Also, be sure and share my posts with your tennis friends, and connect with me onand Youtube!
