I really enjoyed these podcasts. I'm a poet and through the work of Kate Tempest I've become a fan of performance poetry. I knew I'd enjoy this podcast. It did not disappoint. I loved the variety of performers, poets and rappers on offer her across wide spectrum of subject matter and style. Kate Tempest was the best but I'm an uber-fan so totally biased. I was disappointed every podcast didn't feature her. There is an amazing poem (I cannot remember the poet) about communication in the contemporary world and how everyone's obsessed with social media and updating statuses and apps. I listened to this several times. I need to re-listen to get the poet's name and track down more of her work. The New Bards is a treat.
