Please Get In Touch
This is an appeal for anybody who went on the Street Art walk with Pepe in the pouring rain on Easter Sunday to get in touch with us. Just a note to say "I was there, I went on the walk and I can confirm that it did take place and there were about 20 other people on the walk" would be more than enough.Perhaps the Swiss German family who live in Luca in Italy. Whose daughter – one of two children – was taking lots of notes. The mom asked a lot of questions.
Or the Japanese couple who had a Discount Card and who telephoned the London Walks office a couple of days before the walk.
Or anyone else who was on the walk.
We're asking because someone has accused us on Trip Advisor of "not being there." They're saying they turned up, waited around, guide didn't turn up, walk didn't take place. That's a serious allegation for a walking tour company.
It's very harmful. Our hunch is they hadn't remembered to put their clocks forward and thus turned up at 2.45 pm in the mistaken belief that it was 1.45 pm.
I know this is just putting a message in a bottle and flinging it into the ocean of Cyberspace but connected up the way the world is these days – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter – maybe one of you will see it. Or perhaps one of your friends. And get back to us.
Our reputation is at stake.
Please can you help?
Many, many thanks.
