Plot: Kermit and his newfound friends trek across America to find success in Hollywood, but a frog legs merchant is after Kermit.

Story: The Muppet Movie starts when Kermit the Frog meets a Hollywood producer. He decides to leave his swamp behind and head to Tinsel Town. Along the way, Kermit meets Fozzie and many other friends.
Once they get to Hollywood, they must overcome their problems. It sees them performing songs and dancing with a host of colourful characters. All for the chance to follow their dream and make it in Hollywood.
Verdict on The Muppet Movie
The Muppet Movie is the first movie for the colourful series of characters. It follows them meeting on their journey to Hollywood in the hope of making it. All while having a few winks and nods to the big screen.
This is a good introduction to the colourful characters on the big screen. It has the magic we have gotten used to seeing nowadays and cultural icons. This is a movie that does a lot of acknowledging the audience about certain things, in a way that doesn’t click like it once did. It is a delightful movie and shows the beginning of a charming collection of movies that were going to take over for decades to come.
