No, not a 4 legged mule, but a slip on open back shoe commonly referred to as a mule in the fashion world. Consider it the first cousin of last season’s strappy heeled sandals that everyone was spotted in – it’s this seasons updated version of that staple shoe! A perfect example of one of the best things about fashion – the ability to take an aged trend and bring it back to the forefront of must have season styles all due to a few modern updates and silhouettes. I personally purchased a pair of mules a few months ago at Zara, but have yet to wear them yet. One of these days, I’ll finally have the perfect occasion to take them out for a spin. The version I bought is more of a sexy stiletto style, but right now I’m searching for a more casual wedge option that’s still stylish but won’t break the bank. Any recommendations for me?
