AIPMT Exams

  1. All India Institute Of Medical Sciences(AIIMS, MBBS)

The AIIMS established in 1952 conducts medical entrance exams or even a MBBS program on a yearly basis. The competition is extreme as there are only 70 vacancies and over 80,000 applicants sit for this exam. The application form cost Rs one thousand and there are options of filling it both online and offline.  The eligibility for sitting in this exam is that, one will have to pass 12th standard exams and at least achieve 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. It is a three and a half duration paper which has 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. One will also have to answer 20 general knowledge questions. Applicants should know that there is negative marking for wrong answers.

  1. All India Pre Medical Test(AIPMT)

It is a dental test option conducted by the CBSC board New Delhi and people who have sat for the exam have no hesitation in claiming that it is the toughest amidst the medical examination options. People who intend to avail an AIPMT admit card will initially have to fill up the form. Someone who wants to do it online can go ahead and the quote in this case is rs700. There is also the option of filling it up offline and in this case the quote is Rs 800. There are around 6 lakh examines for 3500 seats.  An examinee will have to answer 180 questions and equal weight is given to physics, chemistry, zoology and botany.  There are four marks for each question and just in case the answer is wrong you will invite negative marking.  Candidates who intend to sit for this paper should be within the age limit of 17 to 25. However, for SC/ST/OBC candidates the upper age limit is 30. Just score 50% marks in PCB and sit for the exam.

  1. CMC Vellore Medical Entrance Exam:

The Christian Medical Colleague located in Vellore is a top ranked medical institute in the country and hence there is a rush amongst students to enroll there. The institute hosts national level exams for select students under MBBS courses. The application form is available online from February 18th to May 20th. Exams are conducted on online computer systems and the time limit is 3 hours 10 minutes.

  1. COMDEK:

COMDEK refers to “Consortium of Medical Engineering & Dental Colleagues Karnataka”. It is examination procedure floated by Association of Medical, Dental Engineering private colleagues. The aim is to determine the merit of examines in a transparent manner. There are over 20,000 seats for people who want to pick up COMDEK forms. At present 14 medical 23 dental and 150 engineering colleagues recognize this exam. Hence, there are good reason why any medical or for that matter engineering student will want to avail COMDEK application forms.  It is an online computer bases test carried out countrywide.
